❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is ethylene oxide (EtO) sterilization?
Ethylene oxide is a gas widely used in sterilization; more than 50% of medical devices are sterilized by EtO. It is used either as 100% ETO or in combination with carbon dioxide.
What are the main advantages of using EtO sterilization?
It is preferred for large volume sterilization due to high penetration. It allows for sterilization of final packed products to avoid secondary pollution, operates at low temperatures to maintain product characteristics, and has broad material compatibility including electronics and batteries.
What is the scope of use for an ETO Sterilizer?
It is used for endoscopes, plastic/rubber products (gloves, syringes, catheters), surgical instruments, anesthetic vessels (masks, tubes), and cotton fiber products (surgical gowns, bandages).
What are the warranty terms for the equipment?
The mainframe of the cabinet is guaranteed for at least 5 years, the control system for 2 years, and other purchased parts for 1 year.
Do you provide technical support and installation?
Yes, engineers are arranged to go on-site to install the machine and train operators after the machine arrives at the client's facility.
Do you provide validation documentation like FAT, IQ, OQ, PQ?
Yes, we provide FAT, IQ, OQ, and the support of PQ, along with software validation to ensure full compliance.
