Product Description

Nonwoven Fabric Machine

PP spunbond nonwoven fabric and PP meltblown nonwoven fabric are well-known nonwoven fabric in the world. Both are produced using Polypropylene (PP).

PP spunbond technology combines fiber spinning with web formation by aligning the bonding device with the spinning process. Fibers are formed as molten polymer exits spinnerets, quenched by cooling air, and deposited on a conveyor belt. This allows for production of single to multi-layer fabrics such as S, SS, SSS, SMS, SSMS, SMMS, and SSMMS.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the main difference between Spunbond and Meltblown fabric?
Spunbond fabrics are known for their strength and durability, making them ideal for structural applications. Meltblown fabrics have finer fibers, providing excellent filtration properties used primarily in medical masks and filters.
2. What does "GSM" mean in nonwoven production?
GSM stands for Grams per Square Metre. It measures the weight and density of the fabric. For example, shopping bags typically use 50-80 GSM, while medical products often use 30-50 GSM.
3. Can these machines produce Spunlace nonwoven fabric?
No, these machine lines are specifically designed for PP Spunbond and Meltblown processes. Spunlace technology uses high-pressure water jets to entangle fibers, which is a completely different production method.
4. How do I choose the right nonwoven machine line for my business?
Selection depends on your target market (e.g., bags vs. medical), the popular fabric roll sizes in your region, your available factory space, and your production budget. Single beam lines are great starting points for bag production.
5. What is included in the installation and training service?
We provide a turnkey service that includes mechanical and electrical installation, followed by personnel training to ensure your engineers can operate the machinery efficiently. The process typically takes 40-45 days.
6. Are the produced fabrics eco-friendly?
Yes, the machines focus on producing high-performance, eco-friendly PP nonwoven fabrics. While PP is a plastic, spunbond bags are designed for multi-use, reducing the reliance on single-use disposable plastics.
