COMMA BLADE COATING MACHINE

The comma scraper coater is a device used for uniform coating on flat materials. The surface of the round roller is processed into a blade along the generatrix, which is shaped like a comma. Once the adhesive passes through the blade, it suddenly loses pressure, eliminating sticky marks even as the material rebounds.

During coating, the comma scraper remains fixed. The notched edge ensures that the coating passing through is precisely scraped to maintain uniform thickness.

The uniformity depends on the runout, cylindricity, and straightness of the comma scraper blade. This method is highly valued for its simple operation and compatibility with a wide range of glue viscosities, reducing errors caused by human factors.
